Join us for our next field trip to tour the Mayfield Dairy in Athens, followed by lunch and antique shopping in Sweetwater. Cost of the tour is $4.50 + tax per person (they offer a discount for Veterans). Includes ice cream! Mark your calendar for April 15th. Sign up sheet is in the Education Hall.

Tai Chi continues every Tuesday at 10:30 am. If you haven’t tried it yet, come learn some moves to help improve your balance and flexibility. If you’ve attended but stopped coming, we miss you and want you to come back!

There are many ways to connect and serve – just ask someone!

  • Music Ministry – Chancel Choir and Hand Bells
  • Sunday School – attend a class; volunteer as a teacher or assistant
  • Volunteer for Mission activities at home and abroad
  • Participate in United Methodist Women
  • Participate in the Men's Group
  • Attend Meet and Greet events and Fellowship Dinners
  • Pray for the pastor and the church staff
  • Pray for those persons on the church prayer list
  • Send a card to an Extended Family (homebound) member or visit them (addresses available from the church office)
  • Participate in outreach activities to assisted living facilities, local nursing homes, and local schools
  • Participate in lunch and day trips with the Senior Adults
  • Serve as an usher – contact Jack Hammontree
  • Prayer Walk in the community
  • Participate in community outreach activities
  • Serve as liturgist – contact Joe Spence
  • Assist with the sound – contact Ed Tinnel or Sandra Guinn
  • Assist with aspects of Worship (communion, paraments)
  • Sign up on the Flower Chart to provide altar flowers in memory of someone or some group
  • Assist the women of the Care Corps to serve a meal in case of a death in the church family
  • Read the Upper Room 
  • Serve on a committee or work team
